DESCRIPTION:A place with no name where everything has a name \nAn exhibition by Agata Siek \nThis exhibition brings together painting\, sculpture\, drawing\, and installation to explore an intuitive approach to perception and naming. It moves between atmospheric environments and a developing system of symbols that form a personal visual language. A space composed of traces\, gestures and quiet forms — suspended somewhere between memory and imagination. Project has been growing quietly for a long time\, and it finally will exist in the world. \n\nAgata Siek (born 1995\, Poland) is an intermedia artist working across drawing\, painting\, sculpture\, installation\, and multimedia. She holds a Master of Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and is a member of the Waikato Society of Artists and the Waikato Society of Potters. Her practice combines natural and found materials with handcrafted forms to create immersive environments exploring perception\, memory\, and intuitive systems of meaning. \n\nPlease join us at the opening event for place with no name where everything has a name on Thursday 30th April\, 6pm. \nThe Nancy Caiger Gallery is open 11am-2pm from Wednesday to Saturday. DESCRIPTION:We’re back again! The Meteor fam return for another night of brain baffling boffin-ry. Gather your team and test yourselves on a range of knowledge!  \nThe bar is open\, the clues are ready\, so bring your biggest brains and compete for some fantastic prizes. \nCheeseboards available to purchase for $30 each! Serves roughly 6-8 people\, but if you love cheese\, why not buy two! These must be ordered in advance by emailing kiaora@themeteor.co.nz\, they won’t be available for purchase on the night. Cut off for order is Wed 13th May 5pm. We’re not able to service any dietaries at this stage sorry! \n\nDoors open 6.30pm\, Quiz starts at 7pm. \n1 ticket per table. Each table can hold a maximum of eight people.
