SUMMARY:The Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Got the post winter blues? Sick of current political madness? Bring friends\, family or colleagues to share a laugh while you enjoy this fast\, sharp satire to light up a dark evening.\nGood news: this political\, satirical comedy is the perfect show to light up a dark evening. A top secret\, future-defining meeting is about to take place in a swanky hotel. Everything falls on an overworked cleaner\, three bumbling P.A.s\, and a paranoid secret agent…What could go wrong? \nAs the characters multiply and tensions rise\, the situation gets more and more out of control… \nFrom two vibrant seasons in Otautahi to an international Commedia dell’Arte festival in Italy\, a tour of NZ and Nelson Fringe Festivals\, to The Basement Theatre in Auckland\, this one woman comedic farce brings the current circus of civil affairs in Aotearoa to life with witty dialogue and laughter. \n\nThis show was created with and directed by Pedro Ilgenfritz as part of Hagley Theatre School’s Six Month Theatre Creation Course in partnership with Isaac Theatre Royal. \nCast: Lola Houghton \nRunning time: 60 mins
