Love, loss, life and the turmoil of being trapped in your head and a bathroom or two, there’s only one way out…
An original play, One Way Out follows 20-something-year-old Samantha as she struggles with relationships, friendships, love and grief on the other side of the world as she leaves the US to study abroad in Europe. On her journey, she picks up a surprising new friend she can’t seem to shake.
Written by Emily Costello and directed by Melanie Allison, One Way Out puts a relatable and reflective lens on real lived experiences. Noelle Savill and Emily Costello star in this premier performance you won’t want to miss. Both Savill and Costello are originally from the United States but have been living in Hamilton and performing in local theatre productions for years. Director Melanie Allison is no stranger to The Meteor Theatre. She has directed several of her own creative works such as Lovecats and Nowhere, Baby. The One Way Out creative team is excited to bring this funny and heartfelt story to The Meteor stage.
