It is said one should not chase butterflies, instead one should plant and tend a garden, and the butterflies will come. Using experimental materials, contemporary sculptural painter, Joslyn Hobbis presents a vibrant and playful world of biomorphic form, cryptic markings and installation to entice intrepid explorers of hidden spaces, monumental protrusions, and alien spheres. This solo exhibition represents a garden of works which explore joy, play, imagination, and illusion in which we seek to make a connection with ourselves and our collectivity.
