From the company that brought you the 2017 Hamilton Fringe Festival hit Boot. comes Small Dynamite’s next play Judgement of Ecstasy. Devised by the cast and written and directed by Stephen Henderson, Judgement of Ecstasy combines classical mythology with modern social critique.
Romulus is founding Rome and needs the people’s help to choose the goddesses that will become a part of the pantheon, with death befalling the ones who fail. Facing high stakes, the goddesses will sing, dance, tell stories, lie, cheat and do whatever it takes to gain favour and survive. The audience are invited to help discern who will live and who will die, voting for the goddesses that will survive.
Judgment of Ecstasy promises to be hard-hitting, thought-provoking and challenging.
Recommended for audiences 14 years and over (contains strong language and mature themes).
Tickets are $15 GA/$10 Concession/Gold coin donation for secondary school students (ID required).
