This film festival showcases the wealth of New Zealand cinema – some of which you may not have heard of before! These films remind us of how far we have grown together, living in the far corner of the Pacific Ocean. The festival is dedicated to exploring and celebrating the films that demonstrate our diverse socio-cultural landscape and heritage. Films range from the iconic comedy of Came a Hot Friday to award-winning documentaries such as Voices of the Land, and recent Cannes award winning short films such as Night Shift and Blue.
Onscreen NZ Diversity works to connect New Zealanders with the films that bring us closer to each other, and celebrate New Zealand’s rich cinema in reaching out to all Aotearoa.
All films screen at 7 pm, followed by a Q & A session. Tickets $10, (door sales).
