Improv on Stage

Monday, 22nd February, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Ready to make a scene?
Take the improv skills you already have and apply it to performing in front of an audience. This course covers games for performance, storytelling, building characters, and culminates in a showcase at The Meteor!

Suitable for people who have completed Intro to Improv, or people with other improv experience looking for a refresher.

Dates and Times: 6-8pm, Mondays 22 February – 12 April (no class 15 March or 5 April)
Venue: Rehearsal Room, The Meteor Theatre
Cost: $90, $60 concession
Age Requirement: 18 and over

About Jim
Jim Fishwick is an award-winning director, performer and teacher. A former Australian national champion improvisor, he began improvising at the age of seventeen with Impro Australia in Sydney, and went on to train at the iO Theater, Chicago, and at the Loose Moose Theatre, Calgary, among others. He taught improvisation at the University of Sydney for three years, is a faculty and ensemble member at Impro Melbourne, and has taught independent workshops around New Zealand, Australia and the world since 2012.
